Dog!

Got to pet a dog today for the first time since February 17th. It was as if a warm, joyful spirit radiated from my now-stinky hands. He even licked my nose. I didn't lick his back, but I did tell him, "Dobry pies!"

Typical Sunday

Today we went to see a medieval castle, an EU-made path around a beautiful lake, and a bunch of concrete communist block apartments. We had lunch in a classic hotel with mirrors and dark wood and ate outside; we ate some lovely food and had a new type of Polish vodka that tasted almost like honey. You know. Just a typical Sunday.
